Delivery

Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube, free for orders of up to three prints, to Australia and to our international markets. Framed and stretched prints are made to order in Melbourne and dispatched within 2 weeks, then take 5–10 business days to most Australian addresses. Shipping on framed works is shown at checkout and fully insured. Many original paintings can also ship rolled in a protective tube (look for the Rolled option), free within Australia and A$75 per order overseas, and Impasto originals ship worldwide for A$75 per piece. Originals mounted to board, and all other framed and stretched works, ship within Australia only. Overseas orders ship Delivery Duty Paid, so there’s nothing more to pay on arrival.

Returns

Every artwork is made to order, so we don’t accept change-of-mind returns. If anything arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll repair, replace or refund it.

Authenticity

Limited-edition prints are hand-signed and numbered by Tory Burke in an edition of 50, and printed on museum-grade archival canvas. Originals are one of one, signed by the artist on the reverse.

Graphite Arch Original Oils on Italian linen

This contemporary monochromatic artwork incorporates black, white, and Paynes Grey hues. As the artist explored various strengths of oil paint, they were fascinated by the interplay of light and shadows on diverse surfaces and geometric divisions. Once the paint surface dried, the artist could gently rub it to create a captivating shiny silver effect. This technique is akin to overworking graphite with a grey lead pencil.

The Process

Each original artwork is painted by hand in Tory Burke’s Melbourne studio. Using layered oil techniques, the composition is developed gradually, moving from translucent tones through to deeper, richer layers, creating depth and texture across the surface.
