The Process

Each work is painted by hand in Tory Burke’s Melbourne studio. Using layered oil techniques, the composition is built from sheer washes through to thick impasto, creating depth, movement and texture. Tory signs each original on the reverse, so the composition stays uninterrupted on the front.
